After almost 10 years of near continous operation, almost no effort from the system administrators, and twice wrapping it's uptime counter past Linux's 497 day uptime rollover, the boot drive finally gave up the ghost. We have some backups of config and some of the old BIGdis content, but since people mostly just contact us these days to be removed from the archive to save themselves from the embarassement of their 22 year old selves rambling on the internet, we have no plans to put it back up.
If you had data on the server and want it back, we are recovering it, and between the two drives (the mirror went offline a while ago but still mounts) we should be able to get some of it back. Let Andy or I know. If you had a mail account here and want one again, let us know; we're still receiving the mail for it now and not bouncing it.
Anyway, thanks for all the memories and good times.
